Project 5
This project involved an extensive home remodel and removal of all existing foundation plantings.
The front garden had originally been a gravel RV parking area that created a challenge due to the compacted soil conditions. To help deal with the soil conditions, large, bermed beds with a sitting area around the perimeter of the house were created with seasonal plantings.
In addition, a bermed bed was created buffering the house from the street with layered seasonal plantings. This bermed bed abutted a drainage ditch next to the road, which was utilized for plants loving the wet conditions.
Take me back to read about the Design Process.
